Legend of the Blades - V0.3.1 release


Hey guys. It’s been awhile since updating Legend of the Blades. My life has been pretty busy for me lately, so I haven’t had the time to update the game as often as I’d like. College, moving, internship searching, all of these take time away from game development that I’d like to engage in :( Still, I’m glad to continue development on the game, as I always find enjoyment in designing new parts of the game. I’ll be doing more dungeon work in the near future as well as adding a brief title screen cinematic to help explain the story a bit.
What’s new in this release:

  • New sprites

  • New placeholder music and sound effects

  • Placeholder title and continue screens

  • When an enemy kills you, the game goes to the continue screen so that you don’t have to restart the game to continue playing

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.
