Legend of the Blades - V0.3.3 release

This post is quite late since I got lazy, but here are the details anyway. I should have made this 0.4 since it was a sizable change, but what’s done is done.
What’s new in this update:

  • Fixed a bug where the player’s sword position wasn’t updated correctly, causing 1 frame sword issues that messed with gameplay.

  • Added an overworld map menu accessed with spacebar. The map displays the player’s current position with a blinking square.

  • The overworld has changed significantly. Large areas are blank for now. The overworld is now 9x9 square areas, and the player travels directly from the overworld to each dungeon rather than the small overworld with sub-areas. This was done to make the game feel like a large contiguous piece of land rather than haphazardly placed areas.

  • New sprites were added.

Just as Pecaminosa's musicians #improvise this rendition of #LittleSunflower 🌻, so do we improvise with this post you're reading. 😂

What's coming out of your own improvs? 🤔

We made a lot of improvements on the Freezing Plains visual. Things like pine trees, tiny bushes, some rocks, and others game props!

Hi everyone! I started to create some environment props for my new video game, here is a cozy house in the forest. I'm planning to switch from Unity to Unreal... Let's see what new challenges I have to face. Made in Blender and Substance Painter.

A house I've built a while ago. :)

It nicely separates the snowy biome from the grassy one.

It's built with painted Ebonstone.
