Well, been over a year since this goofy lil' game's first iteration came out and here we are. So let's chat a bit about this game series' as a whole.
THE PAST.
When TFI first came out, I didn't expect anyone to play it. Then, I woke up one morning and checked GameJolt as one does to find that @ninesoulssea had played, enjoyed, and reviewed the game. Maybe a couple of you can relate to the pure shock and joy to find out that Nine had played our games and enjoyed them. And you wouldn't believe the shock I was in when I saw his first playthrough of it. I was overjoyed.
back then there was a plan for TFI and I'll explain in a minute.
THE PRESENT
Now, things have changed a LOT. One Christmas spin-off, three chapters of The Rift, and a TFI redo later here we are.
But, my thoughts on this series as a whole have changed. And to be frank; I'm sick of it. Don't get me wrong I LOVE the world and characters of TFI but for me, it's time to move on to bigger and more promising projects like Lucid.
THE FUTURE
Yesterday I said that TFI's 2.0.0 update would be TFI: SL's replacement. and that is true. To be honest, I never really liked Sandland as a project. It felt like a hassle but that doesn't matter now.
The way this Northeastern Sector will be accessed like this:
After you complete the Eastern Sector go to the Center Sector and find the fishing village. Simple.
THE ORIGNAL PLAN
The og plan for this series was kind of weird but explained in this chart:
Speaking of Lucid...
WHEN LUCID ENTERED THE PICTURE
things changed, a lot. Once I made that game page for Lucid I realized I had an idea worth more than TFI. Considering how beloved a game like OMORI is Lucid is similar in a lot of ways but can be experienced by younger audiences. Not like toddlers but, pre-teens and teens.
(OMORI is meant more for 18+ but this is the internet so of course, younger people discover it. We live in a world of Helluva Bosses and Hazbin Hotels where 76% the fandom is quicky teens so....)
In conclusion, a lot of crap has happened, go follow Lucid and
See Ya Soon!
