The Floating Islands

pretty nice game. great humor, fun battles, cool characters, a bit formulaic with how you go from island to island but that's to be expected of games. here's a rundown of all things of note that i've spotted while playing:
+ you can interact with most of the objects in Sam's house. that's cool.
- Matthew's character description is cut short by the message border.
- WHY CAN YOU CHOOSE ONLY NEGATIVE OPTIONS WITH CHUCKLES OMG POOR CLOWN
+ Rest in Power, Jerry
+ saving by talking to the old man is pretty cool.
- WHY IS THE GAME'S CURRENCY BITCOIN?!??!
+ the pond interaction is pretty funny lol
+ the black pit is a peculiar place - i like it's atmosphere. wish it had more stuff to do than watch Sam's mom and the girl with the machine.
- Amy and Alex are both pretty busted in terms of power whereas Sam and Matt are pretty weak.
+ i like how the basement dungeon has a spiral structure. neat!
+ lmao there's this imposing ass mf and his name is just DAVE AHAHAHAHAHA
- why is the graveyard's battleback some eldritch dimension instead of a forest or something lol, do the ghosts snatch you into the spirit world to battle??? idk
+ the cat shopkeeper is pretty cute
+ LMAO THE DIALOGUE IF YOU DEFEAT ROBERT
+ the fight with Sally and George is actually pretty challenging + rather fun. i like it.
- why is Alex's class "Magic Man?" is she actually a boy?
+ the design of the melon beast is actually pretty genius - even though it's just a default rpg maker mv enemy sprite the name you chose for it is the most fitting lmaoooo
- Alex's Fire Burst skill uses both TP and Mana but it's never said anywhere.
- the old guy with the road gap quest is broken - even if you find the gap and go back to him he still gives you the quest like if it's the first time you talked to him.

all in all, this was fun to play and gave me some great laughs. the battles in the second half of the game also made me actually use my brain which is rare for rpg maker games. looking forward to the Rift and here's hoping that it'll be all the better. wish you and your next project well :)
