Level Creator nearing completion

The Level Creator is well on its way! The basic elements to create a level are all there; placing the start and end, solid blocks and both the horizontal- and vertical gravity blocks. Once the player is satisfied with their level they can upload it after naming it and providing a username.

The level gets converted to a string of characters that tells what object is at what place and it gets added to a file on a webserver.

From here on all other players can pull the data from the file and the game converts the characters back to a level and adds them to a list with all the player created levels. These can be found through the main menu by pressing Start Game and then Player Content.

Making the Level Creator user friendly and appealing and compatible with the Xbox360 controller are the next steps before an update is due.

More pictures and more progress in general can be found over at my Tumblr blog: Foxel Games Tumblr

We made a lot of improvements on the Freezing Plains visual. Things like pine trees, tiny bushes, some rocks, and others game props!

Today I was setting up the location of the first boss. His name is "Father" and he is the first of the Patagonians. His task is to guard the road to the House.🛡🗡 Bookmark pre-launch page🔖🔖🔖
