Level Mock Up


I made a mock up of what will likely be the first scene of the game, Iosefka’s Clinic. Not all of the assets are done, we’re gonna need at least one more door to show the player can go through it, and a blank wall section would be nice, plus there are some general weirdness going on with the book shelves, but it’s coming along nicely. The exact floorplan might change a little during playtesting though, but this is pretty close to what it should look like.

In engine, there will be some space between the tiles, so there will be the appearance of a nice grid overlay on the scene.

I’m taking liberties with the design of some of the objects for readability and ability to stand out on a 2d plane, but I think I’ve stuck pretty close to the spirit of the designs.

Quick Update. Nothing Huge. Thanks for dropping by, guys!

Getting some more work on the quick intro cutscene.

Checking in Touching base just to let you know things are still getting done. The next scene is very nearly done and will be added to the build ASAP.

Putting some work into assets for the intro cutscene. There will be some improvements for the damage output UI, and making death not quite as abrupt coming soon.

Hey, party people. I thought this project was finished, but now I'm not sure. I'm playing with the idea of upgrading all of the assets to low-poly 3d models. I hope you guys are into that. If I finish, I'll leave the old build up too. Hunt on, guys!
