Eek! A ghost!!
Hey everyone,
Yes, it's really me. I'm not dead as some of you may have concluded.
I've been seeing a lot of people upset with how long the game is taking, and I don't blame you. I can imagine how frustrating it must be to be following a game for so long and still be waiting after all this time.
The truth is, while it's true that I've been very busy, I've also been rather demotivated to work on the project. This is for a few key reasons:
It's hard to bug test. For what is essentially a cross-platform MMO, testing from 1 computer on 1 platform doesn't cut it. Since the beginning of this project, I've wanted to have a really polished, bug-free game from the get-go. But as time goes on, the more I realize how unrealistic that is. Initially, I plan to release the game as a closed-beta, then an open-beta, before finally bringing it into the full release stage. I think this is the best way to go.
I'm not a modeler. I'd been keeping this a secret, but it's been my goal for a very long time to have the perspective of the animatronics be accurate to where they are in the pizzeria (not from the cameras' perspective). I wanted to keep this secret until the release as a surprise, but I've realized that if I ever want this project to be released, I've gotta be a bit more transparent and open about the process. I know that rendering shots of the FNaF 1 location is not a difficult task, but I use a Mac primarily, thus using Source Filmmaker (which would be the easiest option) is not really a possibility. I also have no experience with the program whatsoever. Which is why I'd like to ask for your help. If you have modeling/rendering experience and are interested in helping me out, please fill out this short form. While it would be a non-trivial task for me, it would likely be quite simple for someone else with prior experience.
Once again, here's a link to the form, those who are interested in helping out:

Thank you!
For those of you who are still following me, thank you for your extreme and undying patience. You deserve to see this game come out.
And for those who have decided to move on with your lives, I understand completely. Thank you for sticking around as long as you did.
More to come,
-Junior
