Locked - In Official Guide!

In this small guide, you'll learn everything you need to know to survive locked in!


1) The basics

In this game, you need to survive from 12 AM to 6 AM for six nights. There are four enemies to defend from, and you can do so by using the doors and the lights. You can also know where they are on the map by looking at the cameras (flip up and down the monitor by passing your cursor on the button). Just keep in mind that every action you take will consume a bit of power, and once you run out, your chances of surviving get really low.

2) The characters

The first enemy you'll meet is probably Minni. She gets active from Night 1, at 2 AM. She starts in cam 9, and will make her way to the right door. If you spot her there, close the door and wait until she leaves. You can see if someone is behind a door using the light buttons.

Then we have Lever, who is really similar to Minni. He starts in cam 1 (robot room) and will try to enter the left door. Just do the same you did for Minni, and if you're quick enough, he will leave.

Kilbox is another robot who starts in the robot room, but he's different from Lever. He will take a really strict route, and once he reaches the restrooms, you need to be really careful. He will wait there for a bit, and then he'll run down the hallway when you look at cam 7 or after 20 seconds. If you don't close the right door in time, he will jumpscare you.

Last but not least, there's the principal. He will get active from night 3, starting in the auditorium (cam 3). The first thing you should do when the night starts is to camera stall him. That means you need to look at the camera he's in to prevent him from moving. If you fail to do so, the principal will reach your office in a matter of seconds. He will sit in cam 10, obstructing your view, and wait until you stop looking at him (it also works by not looking at the monitor, it is only important to leave it on his camera). He will try to enter from the left door, and if he moves away from cam 10, close the door immediately. You can't see him using the lights, so keep that in mind. You can't make him go back to where he started; once he reaches cam 10, he will never leave.

3) Other mechanics

Every device you use (doors, lights, cameras) will consume power. You will always consume a bit of power even when doing nothing (due to the AC, damn it). If you reach 0%, after a few seconds everything will go black and you won't be able to use the monitor. And then, it's just a matter of time before the principal jumpscares you (if you are on 5 AM, there's still hope to win!)

You can also play a custom night by accessing it from the main menu. You will be able to customize the characters' AI level, with a number between 0 and 20.

And yes, if you click on the poster in the office, the bear's nose will boop :)
