OFFICIAL LOCKED-IN 3 GUIDE

In this small guide, I'll tell you everything you need to survive the night!

1- The basics

The game has 6 nights, increasingly more difficult, and a bonus one called "Aggressive mode".

In the first night, there are no enemies to defend from. You'll hear a voice talking through the telephone, explaining how to play. The first night is also shorter than the others, with an in-game hour lasting 40 seconds instead of one minute.

You need to survive from 12 AM to 6 AM, by making sure Ektron doesn't come close to your office and jumpscares you.

By turning your head to the right (moving the mouse) you can access the security cameras. From there, you need to watch carefully and spot Ektron hiding in the darkness. You can control his movements by playing sounds in different rooms to lure him where you want. Be careful, because the sound player has a cooldown of about 5 seconds, and the lure has a 1/7 chance to fail. You can only make him go in rooms adjacent to where he currently is.

Sometimes, you may hear Ektron entering a vent. To view the vent cameras, click on the "Toggle camera" button and find him quickly. When you find him, seal the vent immediately to prevent the robot from making it through the tunnel. You can only seal one vent at a time.

2- Errors

By turning all the way to the left, you can click another button. This will open the control panel, where you can fix any errors that may occur during gameplay.

There are three types of errors: Audio errors (you can use the audio lure for a limited amount of times before it breaks), Video errors (which occur sometimes when looking at cameras) and Blackouts (they will limit your visibility and attract Ektron to your office). You also have the option to restart all the systems at once, but it will take twice longer.

Remember, you can't keep an eye on Ektron when restarting, so be careful and quick!

3- The Silvers

Ektron is the main antagonist of this game, but he isn't alone! Occasionally, you may encounter some weird, grey creatures: Silver Minni, Silver Tigro, Silver Rose and Silver Lemur. Their purpose is to jumpscare you and break the security systems, but you can get rid of them with these few tips!

  • Silver Tigro: he will sometimes appear on your desk while watching the cameras. Simply look at him for a split second and then turn all the way back to the right. This will cause him to disappear.

  • Silver Minni: she will sometimes stare at you from the window. If you see her, look at a monitor to make her go away. If you stare back at her, she will jumpscare you.

  • Silver Rose: she will sometimes appear at the door. If you spot her, immediately turn to the right and open the cameras. If you fail to do so, she will break the audio system and make a loud noise.

  • Silver Lemur: he will sometimes hide behind your monitor when looking at the cameras. If you see him when closing the monitor, open it again and he'll disappear. Otherwise, he will stick to your face for around 15 seconds, preventing you from doing anything and making an horrible noise, other than causing a blackout.

That's all you need to know! Let me know in the comments if anything is missing or not clear, and please report any bug or glitch you may find. Thank you! ;)

Locked - In Official Guide!

In this small guide, you'll learn everything you need to know to survive locked in!

Here's a peaceful little forest scene for this #screenshotsaturday, from the beginning of the game.

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.
