Log of January (2022) - We're secretly interior designers


Hello again,

Let's have a look at the stuff we did in January!

January Development

  1. Cat puzzle mockup is working
    The code's been setup for the cat puzzle. It works. It has "beautiful" temporary assets.

  2. Shelves?
    Shelves. Also planks. They're part of the cat puzzle. This puzzle needs quite a lot of unique assets.

    I don't know with you, but those shelves really tie the room together...

  3. General adjustments to textures
    Some colors adjustments and cleaning, along with setting up the new textures on the spritesheets. We're now on 3 spritesheets for this level, hoo boi.

  4. General bugfixing
    (Goes without saying)

but could someone explain what the 'containment' tab is about?

I released the OST on my Soundcloud, along with a bonus track, titled 'Depth'.

I'm planning on returning to this game next year and expand/refine it a bit: A Water-dungeon, npc's and generally more to interact with.
