Log of June (2022) - Summer begins!

Hello again,

Summer begins! Well, at least for some of us. It's getting cold down under.

Anyway, my time at the workshop is over and good progress has been made while being there.

I'm also pleased to announce I've been accepted into the animation school I applied to this year. This means that things are going to get busy from August and beyond, so I'll be sure to work as well as I can on FS over the summer.

Let's have a look at what we did in June :) :

June Development

  1. Lorry's fall (WIP)
We've found a good cost effective way to implement Lorry's fall. Still in early works, but it's looking pretty cool.

  2. Lorry can finally eat pie!

  3. A new background
It was nice to finally work on a full background again.

  4. Sketching out backgrounds for the upcoming levels
Slowly wrapping up texture work for the red level, I've been sketching stuff for the next levels. They are very different from the previous one.

  5. Fixing code to implement second jigsaw puzzle
"fixed cluster fuck code for puzzle boards"

Turned out to be more of a challenge than first anticipated.

  6. Lever and canned fish textures
    Important objects, haha.

That's it for June 2022. See you in a month!
