Louisiana State has named Frank Wilson, their associate head coach and running back coach, as the interim head coach while they look for a permanent head coach to replace Brian Kelly after his dismissal today. More below.

2005-2007: Running Back/Special Teams Coach for Ole Miss

2009: Wide Receiver Coach at Tennessee

2010-2015: Associate Head Coach/Running Back Coach/Recruiting Coordinator at Louisiana State

2016-2019 Head Coach at University of Texas at San Antonio

2020-2021: Head Coach at McNeese State

2022-2025: Associate Head Coach/Running Back Coach at Louisiana State

2025: Promoted to interim head coach after Brian Kelly’s firing today. LSU will be looking for their permanent head coach while Wilson finishes the season as interim.
