MacOS and remade Android ports of Abandoned: Discovery Island coming soon!

It's time to let the cat out of the bag: Abandoned: Discovery Island will be receiving a MacOS port, alongside a new Android port! Here's a small Q&A to go alongside this announcement - feel free to ask any other questions I haven't listed here!

When will these new ports release?

The new ports are planned to release sometime in early-to-mid 2025, after the release of 1.3.0. The MacOS port will release first, as it won't need as many changes compared to the Android release.

Will the MacOS version support Apple Silicon?

Yes! The Mac version runs on Clickteam's latest MacOS runtime, which natively supports both Intel and Apple Silicon Macs.

Who will be developing the ports?

I currently plan on making these ports on my own.

How cut-back will these versions be?

The aim is to get the full game running on these platforms in as much of an intact state as possible. For the Android version, some UI changes will be necessary for the sake of playability, but the aim is to keep as much of the PC experience intact as possible. This includes all features being added to the upcoming 1.3.0 update!

Another house i made long time ago.

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.

Hi everyone! I started to create some environment props for my new video game, here is a cozy house in the forest. I'm planning to switch from Unity to Unreal... Let's see what new challenges I have to face. Made in Blender and Substance Painter.

A house I've built a while ago. :)

It nicely separates the snowy biome from the grassy one.

It's built with painted Ebonstone.

Out of boredom and curiosity, I coded Sailor Jupiter's Argentine Backbreaker.
