Made several changes to From the Woods


After we originally put From the Woods on GameJolt, we received some complaints about it. So we worked hard to take these complaints into consideration and improve our game. We are happy to announce, there is now an updated version on GameJolt. The changes include:

  • More intuitive controls

  • Easier at the beginning

  • Bombs get more powerful as time goes on, so they continue being a valuable weapon

Just a Pico sprite

So here's the first of the zodiac signs i will make for the next weeks.

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)
