Down Ward finally has a proper main menu! :D
I wanted it to be more dynamic than just some static New/Load buttons. So I put together a dedicated backdrop map for it. I used the scripting system I built up over the last few updates to drive the camera, with the pan locations based on the menu items hovered or selected.
There are still a few more little refinements I want to make to it, like pointer jitter correction, which I hope to have in the next update.
I also made some minor palette list updates, which I’ll cover in the next devlog post.
