Major Progress - Sonic Turbo


Hello humans of planet Venus,

I’ve been working hard in the last couple of days trying to finish GHL (Green Hill Lake), I’ve taken a break while doing so to learn how to make cutscene animation which has proved to be extremely successful. and now that my break is over I went Super Sayain and I’ve managed to finish and re-work / polish a lot of the stage, 87% of Green Hill Lake is finished at this point with a stage length of 2:03 without the final section that I have yet to add.

I’ve started to work on a new logo and some hud elements inspired by generations and unleashed. nothing major yet but we’re getting there.

Me and a couple of my friends are trying to start working on a story, we haven’t come up with anything that good yet.. but we’re working on that, so expect a full article on it sooner or later.

Currently I’m going to use already existing music from older sonic games as music for my stages. and I have no plans on getting someone to compose music as that would be a bit too much..

I’ve started working on a hub system similar to Generations’s, it works well enough but it needs tons of improvements (expect a devlog on that soon)

That’s about it really, everything else has been me messing around in the stage seeing what works and what doesn’t, I’ve learned a lot and improved my skills in UE4 in the last couple of days.
