Making visual novel, help greatly appreciated!

(Read article for more info.)


As said above, I'm making a visual novel. It's a toybox-themed horror game that's been in the works for roughly a week. I need composers, a background artist, and a digital artist.

I'm already taking charge of character designs, the plot, the genres, and the programming.

I don't know if those things are all I need, but at the moment, this is all I can think of. If you're familiar with Ren'Py, that would be cool, too. You could give me some pointers since that's the engine I'll be using for my game.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask! I can't wait to make this visual novel a reality.

Next up

Hehe, they’re coming together! I just have more stickers and squigglies and shapes to draw.

I finally have the negative side (and attempted to draw gears and a drippy brain…)

I will color it tomorrow or something… I’m tired y’all

I find that I go back and change things that I say I like and then decide last minute, no, I do not like after all.

Either way, I’m very happy with how I’m turning out! Gee, I really love drawing myself, I gotta do it more

Getting…. somewhereeee drawing clothes on (me?) is gonna be a painnn, I think I’m just gonna do a big sweater, but the most important part is mah hair :3

Hair complete (hard to see, I know) next and finally is his clothessss

Also, I’m finally happy with his mask!

It was a matter of hours and they changed so much There’s still much to be done, but I’m happier with it than I was before

The “negative” side is a struggle cause I don’t know what to add to it, like hair or some kind of shape???

Alrighty! They are pretty much done. The final steps: INK AND COLOR (imagine an echo sound effect pls)

We have Creative and Overthinker (heh, they’re literally me )

Until then… I’m drawing myself cause I don’t feel like coloring

I MADE FEET! Well, paws, but they don’t look like trash!!! (Those are mah fingies, thought I’d include my shadow since I’m drawing myself)

I’m digging it, I think it’ll look great when I get the important parts drawn out.

I’ve been getting back into ENA since Dream BBQ dropped, thought I’d hop on the ENA-sona train since I ain’t got anything better to do

It was agonizing drawing them damn 3D shapes, ugh, but I like it :3

And so the masses have decided!! His name shall now be Haruka!

Fun fact, this was a prototype name as his character developed, but I didn’t use ittt thanks for naming my son!
