Ticks are pessimistic, boring, and extremely unpleasant. They used to be cheerful, but over time, the frequent criticism from Chank made them so pessimistic.

Ticks is also infuriated by the fact that Chank forces him to wear black clothes because it stands out on them so much and makes their disguise meaningless.
