I call it closed play-testing, because only some people will take part in it, not everyone. If I don't already know you it is unlikely you will take part in it, though it's nothing personal, I just want to make sure I pick people I can trust.
While nothing major in the game will change between the play-testers release and the final release, some small things, like small oversights, typos in dialogue, and minor bugs may be corrected between them.
Those who take part in the closed playtest will have to have/do the following.
Follow me and the game (that much is obvious, if not, why are you even interested)
Have up to 50 followers/subscribers spread across Game Jolt and YouTube (if you have 49 subscribers, and one follower on Game Jolt, that would count as 50, though it is possible some exceptions may be made to this rule it is unlikely)
Must have discord (it's free and easy to create an account, so that shouldn't be a problem. You will not be required to voice chat, in fact, there's little chance of this feature even being used in discussion)
Must create a let's play or review in video or written form to be posted on YouTube/GameJolt (you do not have to have YT or do YT, but if you have one, it is strongly encouraged)
MUST NOT RELEASE INFORMATION UNLESS I SAY IT'S OK BEFORE RELEASE DATE.
Do NOT release an early let's play, until the game is released. This let's play can be kept private or unlisted until September 15th, however releasing content prior to this date without my direct permission will result in a block on Game Jolt, a ban on Discord, and a post explaining why you are a horrible person, so please don't.
That's about all the information for now.
Further details on who will take part in this and exactly when and how the early copies will be released is yet to be specified, but will be done at a later date.
September 15th is just around the corner, and I am both excitedly and anxiously looking forward to the date.
Also, if your interested, let me know in the comments.
