Mary's Arcade (Classic)

Merry Christmas!

This is my first devlog shared in the FNaF community, It's a bunch of content from my game I've been working on solo for over a year now. I hope you enjoy!

For anyone new here, over the past few days I hosted polls where my followers decided what I would show off in a big Christmas devlog. Please note that everything shown here is not final and is still subject to change. This is just how things look right now.

POLL 1 - you guys voted to see the show stage over the other rooms, so here you go! This is the most recent iteration of the room.

POLL 2 - This poll flip flopped a little in the beginning, but ultimately more people wanted to hear a sample of Mary's (the frontmost of the trio) voice.

POLL 3 - You guys overwhelmingly chose 'all of the above', who could've seen that coming. ;)

Here's one of the new rooms I've been working on besides the stage.

The new screenshots I promised will be added to the game page throughout the day - I can't do it all at once because of an unexpected thing last night, sorry. Those should all be in order by tomorrow.

Mary Christmas everyone!

Per my last post, here's what 17 extra hours of targeted work can change.

It's a cyclic process; long periods of virtually no change while you figure out what's wrong, then the breakthrough leads to rapid changes in hours.

Nostalgia-Bait Springtrap

Generating an entire wall of any shape from a predefined mesh is so much nicer than trying to hard model all these details.

I guess so.

Into the Water

Literally the only thing that carried over from my old way of doing things to my new way is Mary's eye texture. These two models are actually linking to the same iris texture under the highlights for the eyes. I thought that was kind of cool.
