Meteoria: GJContest Entry, Post 6


Hi Everyone,

Just adding some finishing touches to the game, even though the past two days I have been pretty busy with other things. Luckily, I was ahead of schedule. I’ve just been working on some game flow things, like main menu, game complete screen, and transferring between the two. This has easily been the hardest part of development, as my framework didn’t initially support multiple game states.

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Regular exercise is key for healthy wings.
