Midbyte V2 progress (has been a while, huh?)

I am going to make this quick.

Midbyte V2 has several differences compared to v1.0.4:

  • 4 Worlds instead of 3 (and therefore 4 bosses)

  • New interface and Map

  • New saving script mechanic (thanks, FlyingDeathToaster!)

  • Some improvement and addition to designs

  • Unlockable characters

Currently, all World 4 levels are done, but the boss is still unfinished.
Not all characters are added. (Actually, none are. Yet.)
The new interface is almost done completely.

I’m going to have to show my game to my class on 27th November, so the deadline is set and it’s pretty nigh.

Afterwards, I might make a special update right before the Color Version…

I hope this is all worth the wait…

Some progress made I’ve worked on Midbyte a little . See the following GIF that shows the first level… Nothing more will be available anytime soon…

A ridiculously difficult level? I’ve made some weird and hard levels… I think this will fit as the 3rd World’s hidden level, “Ultimate Challenge”. Could be a lot harder than this, honestly… The last screen is obviously the easiest…

So I can make profile posts? Neat. Lately, I've focused on Midbyte's sequel, "Into Another World", but active development hasn't started yet, so a Devlog is not available. Stay tuned, I guess.

Midbyte V2 is released! Now, after several months, I’ve finally finished V2. I hope. There may still linger a bug or two here and there, or things that are out of place so be sure to notify me! I hope you’ll enjoy what V2 has to offer.

So has there been any progress?

Well, yes but actually no.

Progress has been slow but I think it's going forward...

I have added rewards for quests so that villagers can give you something in return for your hard work helping them. 🥳

I want to know - what's your favourite quest reward?

Finished work on the emotions of a new character for the tank universe

Hi everyone! I started to create some environment props for my new video game, here is a cozy house in the forest. I'm planning to switch from Unity to Unreal... Let's see what new challenges I have to face. Made in Blender and Substance Painter.
