Miyo is back

This happened a few months ago, actually, but I made the decision to quietly bring Miyo back onto Unsandboxed and I'd like to share my thought process in doing so.

Miyo was kicked off of the project and I blocked her on everything because I had heard she doxed someone. With the amount of drama that occurs in the TurboWarp/PenguinMod servers, I obviously believed it and decided to get rid of her without hearing her side of things. I regret doing that and I handled her removal terribly.

After months of trying to reach out to me to explain things, I eventually let her into my DMs and she gave me her side of the story. I heard what happened from her perspective, and I was willing to give her a second chance so long as she was restricted. She just wanted to work on Unsandboxed again, a project she and I both care about, and she had apparently made amends to the people she upset the most (which I was able to corroborate privately).

Let me be clear: the moment she does anything stupid, she's going. Maybe I'm just gullible or easily manipulated, but I believe strongly in second chances and I believe she deserves one. I should hope the rest of you are mature enough to at least hear me out on that and maybe even communicate your concerns with me clearly.

I didn't do this because I don't care about what she did, I did it because I care about giving her a chance to make up for it.

Something something "the only thing holding caine back is that he likes us"

Ok nevermind my count was TOTALLY wrong, 1000 BLOCKS

Unsandboxed is being acquired by the Scratch Foundation.

We're now officially incorporating our "creative AI suite", which includes a code generator, image generation, and a personal code helper named Minge.

We're also removing custom extensions. And fun.

Let me guess, if I respond to this its gonna be another lame "gotcha" because I support a free palestine and that's an alleged contradiction.

An update has been released for Unsandboxed.

Full changelog is in the article.

How often do people use the right/bottom workspace scrollbars? I don't mean how often do people scroll or move the workspace's position, I mean specifically click and drag the actual scrollbars?

Please give me feedback on groups btw, the auto-resizing was a nightmare. Finding a balance between what the user controls and when it snaps to the bounds of the blocks inside was not easy, and I'm still unsure.

Our extensions will be loaded and treated as built-in extensions from the VM, but from a separate repository. No URLs, just raw Unsandboxed extensions. In the true spirit of our name, and without the VM clutter.

Camera zoom/rotation will be coming to unsandboxed. No bugs, no bullshit, "it just works".
