Monthly Demo!

Hey Yall!

We have uploaded the monthly demo for Iktsua! (v0.1.8) This demo is full of tons of new features including (but not limited to!):

  • Redone camera and throwing

  • Changed menu (added logo, changed background)

  • Completely redid town (with water and ice and NPCs!)

  • Added trees

  • Added in AI interactions

  • Performance enhancements

  • Global fog

  • Added NPC chat system

  • Stopped player from moving while throwing

The biggest change here is in the village (it is totally rebuilt from the ground up) and the hunting. We totally redid the camera to allow for a lot more control. The camera is no longer fixed when you throw your spear, allowing for a much more rich dynamic, and skill based hunting system.

As always, here are some screens showing off the new stuff!

I worked on GUI all day yesterday. Update coming today!

Did you know that today is #InternationalJazzDay? 🎷😎

No? 😯 Well, we couldn't pass up this date!

And what better to celebrate this day than #Pecaminosa #OST? 🎷

Let us know what you think about it and have a great weekend!

Been working lately on lots of 'behind-the-scenes' boring stuff that no one really cares about, so here’s a guy playing the sax for some reason.

Hi everyone! I started to create some environment props for my new video game, here is a cozy house in the forest. I'm planning to switch from Unity to Unreal... Let's see what new challenges I have to face. Made in Blender and Substance Painter.
