Hello, we're starting our Monthly Dev Blog! In November we made some progress. Less game stuff, more concepts.. We've planned out the base storylines of ACTs 1-3 and have so much more work to do.
Recently, Carter (Cloud) has chosen to take a break from game development to focus on other things, like family & friends. But they do plan to continue working on the creative side of the game still while they take their break.
Carter has made some progress on the game itself, though. The collisions & objects are now mostly functional and you have a small play space to walk around through. We've started working on the splash-screen & title-screen sequences, which has taken a little bit more work than expected but the results are amazing.
Erasmo has been hard at work making the sprite for Dr. Cacophony come to life, it's finally finished! She looks great, she's animated very well, and she fits in! So we're really excited to finally be done with her. Over the next few weeks Erasmo will be working on our first official tile-set. Once this tile-set is finished, we'll have actual screenshots of gameplay to show to you guys!
Carter has been working on another project too, Erasmo Chang's "Dreamtest", they've been doing the music for Erasmo! (https://erasmo-chang.itch.io/dreamtest)
Changes that have been made this month:
Collisions
Splash-Screen
