This Devlog contains heavy spoilers for the current MLFP version, read at your own risk.
Since the release date is delayed anyway, I use the chance to make some more improvements. So I have no specific release date yet.
To make this up, I’ll give you guys 3 additional screenshots and some infos in general.
Game encryption and credits:
The remakemaster will be encrypted like it was before, without an .exe and splash screen. You have a normal folder again and you can open it with an encryptor, I don’t care. But:
If you like to use anything from the game, check the credits. If it isn’t listed there, it’s most likely made by my friend flyinbo, who made a lot of the graphics. Any normal map (which is not some background image) is made by flyinbo.
For Battlers (Battle sprites) I mostly used graphics from google pictures. So there aren’t any credits to them (the credits would go forever if there were). So using battlers doesn’t require any credit.
To avoid any kind of confusion, don’t modify the game, use your own game.
Story:
There are just small retcons, nothing heavy. Mostly dialogue which made no sense in the whole context of the story have been changed. The Main Game has now more context and everything makes more sense in general.
Remade Main Game:
The “remake” part of “remakemaster” refers to the main game. Almost every scene and dialogue are remade, not everything though. I can’t say much without spoiling the fun, so here is a screenshot instead:
Remastered God of Debauchery:
Aside from small dialogue changes, the main target of the remakemaster is the MLG Palace and final Tirek battle. The MLG Palace got overhauled with more detailed maps, enemies and bosses.
I’d like to keep the fight against the God of Debauchery secret for now. I can say so much that it is splitted in 4 phases, which contain 2 big battles. Stay tuned, I’m very proud of what it turned out to be.
Bitchness Rises Again:
Another big thing is Bitchness Rises Again. The original was basically Chapter 4 with other characters and complete bullshit. Not anymore. You will learn Tireks rise in power and fall in Fuckestrias society and what Celestia has to do with it. Also, the Shadow Villains and their origin will be explained.
Main Menu:
The main menu got improved a bit and every Game Mode has a thumbnail now. This is the one for Bitchness Rises Again:
