Murder Ball is getting multiplayer, but not in a way you might think. Instead of refreshing Murder Ball with a new multiplayer game mode I am adding an entirely new game, written from the ground up. This new version will include a number of new features including support for mobile devices, multiple game modes and, of course, multiplayer.
This new game is being written in my own engine which is why the release has taken so long. The game, titled Terminal Velocity is the spiritual successor to Murder Ball with some tweaks.
First, the game takes on a retro spin with new 2D sprites.
Terminal Velocity will offer two initial game modes. Conqueror, which is classic arena style combat. First player or team to get a set number of points wins. The second mode is Murder Ball which will play relatively similar to the original with some minor tweaks.
A number of other features are coming as well and will be announced later.
