I’ve added in a time system, which can be seen as the white numbers above the player’s head in this order: Season, Day, Hour, Minutes.
The player can rest in a bed to advance the time to 6 am the next day. Later on the player can set up an alarm clock to modify what time they wake up at, to avoid those long waits on shops opening or to just be up at different times.
The inventory is also pretty much done. The player can equip any tool, and hold items in their hands for giving as gifts or just to run around town with veggies in their hands like a crazy person.
(The time overlay is still visible here, it’ll be fixed in playable versions)
The player can also now charge their tools up to have them cover a larger radius, which will cost much more stamina, but is, of course, faster.
I’m also working on combat, which will be actually an RTS of sorts. Not enough working there to show off, but I do have a small video of some friendly slimes being controlled by the mouse:
I’ll try and post updates about once every 2 weeks or so. Some might take longer or shorter to post since progress will be variable. Do expect some combat in the next update though, and probably a working town shop as well!
