24 unique projectile weapon types so far. I haven’t run out of ideas yet. GameMaker makes it fairly straight forward to play around with such ideas. But I will try to keep things as down-to-pixel-earth as possible.
I’ve been thinking of ways to add even more spice to the game. I’m talking a bout small subtle things that would make the game feel less… predictable I guess. I have always been a fan of secrets and random surprises that made even the oldest video games that much more fun to play.
I don’t want to go too crazy though (plz ignore the above gif showcasing mysterious in-game events cough cough)
I want it to be compact, challenging and engaging enough to have players play again and again. That said, I probably won’t talk about secrets till maybe even sometime after the full game is released. Appropriate, right? :)
And you haven’t already, you should totally check out the demo (it’s free to download and play) - http://gamejolt.com/games/battle-buggy-glitch-demo/162355
