Significant Progress

Hello everyone, I hope you are all well. I know I've been inactive on this page and my main social media accounts, which are GameJolt, but I have my reasons, such as studies and work. But leaving that aside, we're slowly getting back into action.

As for behind the scenes progress we have made great strides, with that being that @Fredinator has modeled a character of mine, the first model I have made in my career as a developer, while my model is somewhat decent by my standards it literally outshone the rest so I asked @Fredinator to remodel it, time passed and I must say that now it looks intimidating just like I wanted and now it will join the rest of the already established roster.

I won't reveal much about the character himself since I want it to be a surprise, what he represents, what he will do, and how important it is. The only thing I will give you is his initials P.W.O . That's all I will give you about him.

• What happened to the missing characters?

Well, it's been a long time since there was any revelation of Mr. Owl, Vicky the Cat and Coco and the fabulous redesigns they have had, I want to clarify that, the characters are already ready and some have already seen them on my Discord server but the reason why I couldn't reveal them to the public is easier, is that I haven't had time and neither have the other members of the team.

If I'm going to reveal the characters who fought the hardest and the old version of Benny's, I'll do it well, I'll do it in the best way possible. That's why I haven't been able to reveal them.

As for John the Bear, Miss Marionette and the new and last character Lili the Chef, they have not been modeled yet, this is because the main modeler is resting, but we believe that she will return in the middle of this month. I am not confirming that this will be the case, but we hope so.

• There will be more characters?

The answer is yes, as I said everything has been adapted and with that the inclusion of new characters that will debut in this game being 5 in total two of them have already been revealed to the public being Sara and Samantha, the new character Lili the chef is one of them, I know there are two missing but hey! they are a surprise a big surprise but if I will spoil one that is a dog and the other...well I will leave it to your imagination.

• Will there be guest fangames in this version of Benny's?

The answer is yes, there are only three in total, Reptiland and two surprise projects that will be presented to the public by users other than me, so pay attention.

• What is missing from the project?

Well, I won't lie, the project is missing an artist in the 2D cinematics section to help create a monochromatic cinematic and the new design of human characters. I will no longer use AI, I promise. In the sounds section, some sounds will be recycled, but new and original ones will also be created. The voice cast will be opened in the future to add new voice actors to the game, since unfortunately the voice actress Vicky retired, I'm sorry.

• Some characters from the old version will not return?

Although some characters do not contrast well in the original version, the greatest example being Amalgam, I'll say it like this, Amalgam is a good idea but you have to know how to implement it well, so I reimagined the characters that make it up and they will attack in a different way, so that's all I'll say.

These are my statements, although they are not many and blah blah, I want to say that the game is progressing well, more labor will be sought such as programmers, etc. This is so as not to overload the only person present there, the game will not be released this year since it is twice the content of the original, so I will take my time, a day before the release of the new version I will do something for the old team that thanks to them created the basis of all this, so credits to them, my objective is for the game to meet the current standards of a fangame, not only give pretty graphics and a meh story, I want to innovate, just that.
