Yesterday I found this game created by @BrennanGames and I found it very enjoyable. It’s able two friends, Journey and Quin, ending up in a place called negative space, with them needing to go home. Not just because there in a strange land, but also because just them being there could cause THE END OF THE WORLD!
You play as both friends in the game, being able to switch between them, journey has a higher defense, and can use their weapon to create blocks to get to higher places, while Quin has stronger attack and can break green blocks. The game has a mix of both platforming and puzzle solving, which it does pretty well. Though I will admit, there was this matching puzzle that I found very hard at first, most because I didn’t realize what I was actually doing, and it took me way longer than I should have to realize, but with the knowledge I kinda like the puzzle now.
There will also be moral choices throughout the game (by the way no, defeating normal enemies does not effect this, in fact you probably will have to In order to but things.
The music is also really good and catching, and I hope there will be a way to listen to it all soon. The art is also nice too, giving off a bit of a cave story vibe but still being unique.
I also love the writing, it’s very fun and nice, and I actually audibly laughed out loud a couple times, which is impressive. All in all I give the game like a 9/10, very good stuff, highly recommend checking out the demo. It’s about 1.5-2 hours long. So go check it out and give it a follow.
