Y'know, I've always had a soft spot for the FNATAS Series. The 4th game was what got me into the fan game scene when I was a kid if I remember correctly, and I got invested in it. But never did the creator's scandals affect my feelings for any series until now...

I've stuck with the series once in a while most of my life, but I keep forgetting Jaiden is a self insert of the creator... but he's not just a cameo, but in fact a lore-heavy character.

Ever since Jaiden (the creator) got exposed as a pedo supporter and generally a piece of shit, I just... I'm feeling conflicted on the series now...

I genuinely still want to like it. My heart still likes it, but my mind says that the self-insert makes it impossible to seperate art from artist, like Garvey from OG Dormitabis & Blackout.

This isn't like any normal project where you can seperate art from artist. This is well... a self-insert of the creator being one of the overarching villains, which kind of makes it hard for me to seperate art from artist.

I'm not saying I'm leaving the series, I'm just writing down my thoughts. I'll still stick around. Plus, I've heard that Ray (the new owner) is gonna replace Jaiden's self-insert. I wonder who the replacement will be like.
