For those who have noticed, last month Jaiden decided to return to his Youtube account out of nowhere, to give his so-beloved series a proper ending.

If he can return to doing what he liked without zero consequences whatsoever, despite all of the things that happened, then why should I be any less?

Why play by the rules, if someone else can just choose to ignore them at any moment?

As such, I will be wrapping up my unfinished business too.

I am finishing FNaTAS 2 Rebranded Deluxe.

The game has been in development since the beginning of this year, and is currently sitting at a comfortable 50% completion more or less, so it is halfway done.

Night 3 was recently completed and just yesterday a Beta build was sent to the rest of the team. The reception has been pretty good so far, I would say!

...But there are a couple of important things that I feel I should address:

First, Jaiden's character is (unfortunately) staying. We had plans to replace him across all Rebranded games, but that is likely not happening anymore as it was a lot of effort that could be spent on something else instead.

For anyone who is worried, there is a disclaimer in the game which shows up the first time you boot it up:

Second, the "Dialogue Guys" (the narrators at the end of each cutscene) are currently in the process of being fully replaced since they've also done bad stuff, and in their case, a replacement is actually feasible since they were just voices.

As of now there is no release date for the game as I want to work at my own pace, but just know that progress has been steady so far.

I am aware I said in the old cancellation post that my passion had completely died out, and that you wouldn't be seeing anything else from me... But looking back, that was something I said purely due to the heat of the moment, and as you can see it's not really the case anymore.

Said post will be staying for archival purposes, so I likely won't do many devlogs as you already know basically everything you can expect.

This is all I can say for now. I hope with this I can at least undo some of the damage that was caused a couple months ago.
