my fanmade TF2 classes


you read the title correctly I have three fanmade class ideas that I'm gonna put right here, I'll talk about their name, character, weapons, and unique traits

the hydro

backstory: the hydro story wise would be the pyro's older brother, in fact there would be a backstory between the two of them where the hydro was always better then the pyro which pushed the pyro into a depression, eventually finding confort in the fantasy that was his mask, to the point where he would never take it off.

design: the hydro would wear a full scuba outfit and similar to how the pyro wears a mask that covers his face, the hydro would wear an old timey scuba mask that would do the same

unique traits: the hydro would be immune to fire damage, showing that he knows everything his brother can throw at him. he would be one of the faster classes, being second only to the scout and would be unable to drown. the only downside is that in order to fully refill his ammo he'd have to go in the water, ammo dispensers would only give back a quarter of his max ammo, and even though he is fast, he slides a little bit before completely stopping

weapons

--the water cannon: does little damage but has many unique traits, can push back enemies, reveal disguised/invisible spies, never disappears until it hits a wall or enemy, can absorb projectiles (rockets and grenades) and have them explode when it hits a wall or enemy, allws the user to rocket jump.

--the pressure blaster: shoots a highly concentrated beam of water that does high damage and instant kills on headshot

--the fire hydrant: would be placed over the users arm and used as a melee weapon, it stuns when it crits and always crits in the water or if the target is covered in jarate

--scald blaster: fires a steady stream of high-temperature water that does burn damage if it makes contact (very similar to fire damage) is also instantly destroy sentries

--harpoon gun: fires one shot, is very slow, can be airblasted, always crits and if the harpoon misses its target it can be picked up again to be used as a mid damage melee weapon

the gasser

story/traits: a former nazi scientist who specializes in gas-based weaponry, he'd be german (similar to medic) but unlike medic his voice would be more jolly and upbeat as if he enjoys what he is doing

unique features: he would be on the slower/beefier side, having a lot of health but would be very slow, he takes twice the amount of fire damage and would explode if he dies from it, hurting anyone in the near vicinity

weapons

gas maker: would set down a gas cloud that would drain the health of anyone who walks into it, it can also be set on fire to make a temporary fire cloud that causes fire damage to whoever walks through it, before disappearing

smoke bombs: can be used to grant the holder 10 seconds of invisibility

gas wand: sprays a toxic gas that can be shot at a medium-range, draining the health of whoever is caught in it

poison dagger: his melee weapon of choice, allows him to backstab, does poison damage if it gets a crit

the samurai

traits: he'd be japanese and, like sniper would be very professional in demenor

unique features: turns invisible when standing still, moves as fast as a scout, has a further jump then scout (although no double jump)

weapons

crossbow: very similar to the snipers huntsman, crits on headshot, fires once bfore reloading, has a scope for max accuracy

blow darts: shoots low power darts at the enemy, if it lands it will do poison damage

samurai sword: his melee weapon of choice, medium damage, and can cut off heads

dark sword: same as the regular sword but with more damage and longer recoil time, allows the user to backstab, however, if you backstab you will lose some health

throwing stars: these stars would do bleed damage if they make contact, they can also be picked up off the ground if they fail

hands: can do chop damage, or can neck snap from behind
