My First Game: Idle Colony

Hi there. If you’re taking the time to read this, thanks, it means a lot. This is my first ever published game, and it’s an Idle Clicker-style game called Idle Colony.

In this game, you start with nothing. Create workers to gather resources and click a creature to deal damage to it. Then, with resources, you can train marines to fight the creature for you, as well as generators to gather a different type of resource. Keep building, upgrading and training units and eventually you’ll have a bustling Megalopolis with enough resources to build a ship and leave the planet.

There’s a tooltip system and autosave feature, so you should never be completely lost or lose your progress.
The creature has several different types it can be, with some rarer than others, so keep an eye out for the less common ones.

Other than that, try it out, and have fun. Thanks again for taking a look, and hopefully I’ll see you again in my next project. (It’ll be a horror game)

Been working lately on lots of 'behind-the-scenes' boring stuff that no one really cares about, so here’s a guy playing the sax for some reason.

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!

I made a small jungle house.
