I honestly didnt really think that itll end up like this
I understand, that game cant be perfect, and theres always some issues that can ruin everything, but at least Im trying my best to fix most of them, as I can
Most of people dont see any problems in game, and they like it a lot
But theres also a huge group of people, saying that NMD is worse than some certain projects, because attacks contain rng, while chara in one of endings "becamoes a god"
I wont try to give myself excuses to keep some things as they are now
I want to explain why did I initially did it like this, so there'll probably be less confusing questions
A huge problem with attack balancing
I confirm, that I dont have that much experience in balancing them, I actually agree
I was struggling with attacks for a very long time in NMD, while some people are able to make better attacks in few days, without remaking them for months
It is my problem, I agree
So I was taking feedback from some people and friends, knowing what good balancing is
I agree, that at its very first release there were problems, some bad moments and stuff
So I listened to your feedback and nerfed some attacks, mainly by just a bit remaking them, so theyre a bit more fair
But even after fixes, some people say that game is still bad, because of RNG, or basically random
But is existing of rng that bad so it ruins every single game?
If it doesnt make gameplay unfair, and helps to make it less boring, no
Can I say that its 100% fair in NMD?
I really hope its close enough, but I cant promise something
But at least, its possible to no-hit it
There were few people who were trying to, and they were saying what was stopping them in each run
Not every single attack with rng, but exactly certain attacks, that I already fixed(Thanks to Gon and Harry)
And here is it, NMD no hit
But avranik it doesnt mean everything, even if theyre fair, not everyone can react that fast
I know, but isnt it like that game was supposed to be hard or something?
Alright, I could make it that you have to learn every single attack, but then wouldnt this situation happen again?
Wouldnt people complain that its hard to learn them?
It probably would, since thats what I see around, looking on other projects, people begging for easy mode or debugs, and if devs dont add it, projects and devs themself get huge amount of hate
It kinda erases main point of fangames, which is reexperiencing Undertale, show or bring something new and unique, and etc
Most of you probably could remember when you was thinking that sans is impossible to beat, that his fight is extremely unfair, and most of you remember those vibes
Well, it gets blurred now more and more with each day
Rng itself isnt bad, and it makes gameplay less boring, unless Im mistaking and missing something in NMDs attacks
If I did so, please, correct me, Im opened for feedback, just tell me what exactly am I supposed to fix
Chara doesnt die in genocide ending, and instead somehow slashes us
This one is kinda obvious
We are fighting against Chara Undertale right
That one person who erases entire world in 1 slice right
That person who creates entire world from zero after its erasing right
It explains pretty much everything, at least I think so
I dont think that someone with this power would easily die like this, unless you somehow break them, make them give up
So youre actually able to do it in nmd, since theres 4 endings in total
I really hope I explained everything a bit better, if Im wrong somewhere, once again, feel free to correct me
