so as you may know, legend's arceus was leaked roughly a week ago and with it cam all of the new pokemon and forms and I'm here to talk about them, so here we go

hissuian growlithe and arcanine

these two definately look the part, growlithe is cute and arcanine is badass, however thier typing of fire/rock concerns me, especially since there are no abilities in the game. I don't know if they'll be able to perfoerm as well as their designs

hissuian voltorb and electrode

all this does is make these pokemon more confusing lore wise. I wasn't a fan of the originals and these look the same but with a wooden coat of paint

cleavor

it's fine, I'll need to see it's stats to give off a better conclusion

hissuian qwilfish and overqwil

their designs are kind of silly, but poison/dark is one of my favorite type combinations, it's why alolan muk is one of my top 5 favorite pokemon. so perhaps they'll grow on me over time

wyrdeer

I would have perferred is wyrdeer was normal/ice to make it more unique, but normal/psychic is far from bad. it looks decent , not to mention this is the first full on evolution since sylveon as there is no hissuian stantler

hissuian typhlosion

looks kinda lame, the flames make it a bit better but still pretty unimpressive overall

hissuian sneasel

honestly I would have perferred it be ice/poison, it's design doesn't really scream "fighting" it would have been more unique, plus the only other poison/fighting type is already in the game

honestly, I perfer weavile. this one just looks like a guy in a fursuit

ursaluna

this pokemon has everything it needs to be one of my favorites. ursaring was already my 11-10th favorite pokemon, but now it has a new evolution with a cool design AND it is my favorite type in the game. I'm definately going to try and use it on my team

hissuian samurott

definately an improvment over regular samurott. but that's not saying a whole lot

white stripe basculin

a cool looking, worthy evolution to basculin, I like the fact that it has a male and femeal variant

hissuian liligant

I think liligant needed a new form because it's counterpart, whimsicott, gained the fairy type in gen six while liligant got nothing, so I think the new form is warrented, although adding two new grass/fighting types in the same game seems kind of strange

hissuian zorua and zoroark

these two look really cool, and ghost/normal is an awsome combination.

hissuian braviary (and maybe rufflet)

I've seen pictures of a hissuian rufflet floating around. it looks like it's going to be mono flying type, although I could be crazy. as for braviary, it looks really cool, I like it. the shiny especially looks badass

hissuian avalugg

this does not seem like an improvement. if it has similar stats to normal avalugg the added rock typing is just going to weigh it down

hissuian sliggo and goodra

I'm not too crazy on these two, they added a shell and made the greens darker, that's it

hissuian decidueye

I love regular decidueye but this is good too. probably my favorite of the three starters.

enamorus

who asked for a new force of nature? why does it look so wired? why is the therian form a table? honestly if they were going to make a new FON I would have made it grass type, that's because grass>ground>electirc>flying>grass it made more sense to me

dialga and palkia's new forms

these....look really wired, if palkia had arms I think it would be a hell of a lot more effective. as for dialga it would look good on the gamecube, but on the switch....yeah nah

and that's my opionions on all of the hissuian forms, these are obviously subject to change when the games come out so I might make a follow up on these guys. overall though, it looks like this might end up being my favorite batch of regional forms yet!
