What is the gamejolt situation?

for those who have no clue what the Gamejolt situation is, it started when gamejolt showed boosts and nobody really liked the idea and gave their opinion on it saying it was just pay to win. and the popular and beloved fnaf fan game creators who did the same things, for some reason got SHADOW BANNED, AND got their CREATOR BADGE removed from them. now the fnaf fan game community, at least a ton of them has moved to itch.io. another crazy thing about this is that gamejolt even said "if we really wanted to silence someone, we would just remove their creator status". that means they just admit trying to silence everyone who talked bad about the boosts. gamejolt is just throwing a tantrum over the bad response. this is just what I understand, i don't know if this is all of it or is 100% accurate to the story.

What's My Opinion on the Gamejolt situation?

i think gamejolt is being such a baby over this, and should just try to do better, remove the boosts, and give everyone their creator badges back. but the damage is already done and i don't know what is going to happen next.

Am I going to move to itch.io?

Maybe, i'm not 100% sure. I might if the Gamejolt situation doesn't get any better, mainly because i love this site. but i would not be on a site that is full of drama like this. I would also move to show gamejolt what they are doing and how it affects the community within.
