Myriad Blitz Update 1.1.0!


This update has been in the works for 8 months. I’ve taken a serious approach to it now and there are a LOT of improvements and changes since the last update.
First off, the name has been changed from Christmas Donger to Myriad Blitz.
There are way too many changes to talk about all of them, but here’s a list in a nutshell:

  • changed the game to 16:9 resolution

  • completely redrawn all sprite work and backgrounds

  • optimized pretty much all of the code

  • added a menu with settings and an about page

  • improved player stats display

  • added a lot of visual effects

  • added menu music and a lot more SFX

  • added ultimate attacks for each character

  • added status effects

  • added focus mode (slowmotion ability)

  • fixed a ton of bugs

Our Japanese themed game released yesterday on Gamejolt + Itch io if anyone would like to check it out! :) You play as a spirit of a japanese wolf.
