New Concept Art

In the past few weeks I’ve finally had a chance to get back into development of this game, and I started by trying to tie down the visual style a bit better.

Above is The Inventor’s house. You will start the game in this location after being “refurbished” by The Inventor. I did an interior for it as well a while back, but I am not entirely happy with it, so it is back to the drawing board on that one.

This is one of a number of environment types where missions/combat will take place, a mine where these pink crystals are being extracted. I haven’t decided what they are yet, but I like that colour as an accent!

The original character art I created did not fit into the new environments at all, and was just starting to look bland and half-assed to me generally. I reworked the character with a more vibrant palette, and added some more definition and detail. I’m not 100% sure this is the final version of the character, but I think I am happy with him for now anyway.

Don’t forget to follow me on twitter to see me agonising over these things pixel by pixel!

We made a lot of improvements on the Freezing Plains visual. Things like pine trees, tiny bushes, some rocks, and others game props!

Hi everyone! I started to create some environment props for my new video game, here is a cozy house in the forest. I'm planning to switch from Unity to Unreal... Let's see what new challenges I have to face. Made in Blender and Substance Painter.

Why walk when you can jump?

These are background sprites I've created for a game I'm working on at school ^w^ Click on the post to see how the sprites connect. You won't regret it! (personally, I think it's pretty heheh)
