New Demo Level

It has been a while since my last devlog, and I apologize for that. The tutorial level is taking more scripting and design than anticipated and school is bearing down on me with project deadlines and the like. However, since it has been so long, I added all the new content into the mechanics demo that was released previously to show the new enemy model and parkour system that is now in place! Without the tutorial, the system does take some getting used to, but most of it is intuitive. Jump toward a wall to do a wall run, sprint and then crouch to slide, etc.

Since the tutorial is taking a longer time than expected, I will be moving on to the first official level of the game, so everyone can get some actual content to the game and how it will be played. I don’t know how much time I will be able to get on it with school, but I hope I can get a full level available within the next two months.

So go on and check out the new parkour system and let me know how it feels.

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.
