new features have been added


Hello everyone!

A small update for you.

Each caracter now has list of tiles he or she (or it, maybe) can see (field of view). Non-player characters will not attack you (or other non-allied characters) if they have not seen you already (and will stop trying to attack you if they have not seen you for a while). You (as a player) will not be able to see characters out of your field of view. Tiles that are seen by your character are also lighter. (it is still buggy a bit)

There is a chance that upon his death enemy character (and not only enemy) will drop some of his items. If you walk over his last position (aka tile he died standing on) you can pick them up automatically. (it is really buggy)

I’ve also changed pathfinding algorithms and added system of cover calculation. There are orange pyramids on some of the tiles. Those pyramids denote objects (like crates or barels) which you can use as cover (other characters can perfom such functions just as well) by simply standing directly behind them (you and attacker have to stand on the opposite sides, obviously).

You can also select race for your character when you start new game
