Just released a new update. :)

This update adds game modes, of which there are now 5 (Mantle, Dedicated, and 3 Hourglass modes). Also added are numerous level refinements, and additions to the experimental touch screen support.
Mantle

Easy mode. (well, less-hard mode anyway) Each map will have a Mantle Crest. Gable can light a Mantle Crest by striking it while she’s carrying a feather. When the Mantle is lit, committed feathers will stay committed on death. However, the mantel must be relit, which will necessarily require a new uncommitted feather. So you’ll still have to make progress to preserve progress.
Dedicated
Hard mode. This has been the normal difficulty in previous releases. There are no Mantles. Death resets all feathers, but doesn’t reset secrets.
Hourglass
Harder modes. Hourglass appears on the menu as a single option, that’s initially locked, but it is actually a set of 3 speedrun oriented game modes, Aggregate, Airborne, and Terrestrial.
These are still in development, but if you unlock them, you can try them out.
In each of these Hourglass modes, death resets all feathers, as well as secrets, and the goal is to minimize your time to the greatest extent possible. You’ll see your total time spent across the preceding levels at the two tower-less milestone maps, and at the top of the final map. At the moment, you’ll have to take a screenshot to record your time, but I’ll be setting up a nicer solution in a future update.
(In the future I think it would be fun to integrate these modes into a tiered Game Jolt leader board.)

Aggregate
Once a level has begun, the moment Gable first moves, a timer starts. The timer stops the instant the last feather is committed to the ward tower.
Airborne
Airborne has a timer similar to Aggregate, however when Gable is in the air the timer is frozen. To minimize your time, you’ll want to spend as much time flying as possible.
Terrestrial
Terrestrial is the inverse of Airborne. When Gable is on the ground the timer remains frozen, but any time in the air is added to your total.
All feedback and comments are welcome as always. :)
