New map editor for the new map + transition tiles

Hello everyone!

I want to share some progress with you on the next iteration (which I will upload on Sunday, I hope).

As I said, I made the island size bigger(from 120x90 to 240x180 [in 32x32 blocks]) and I started to work on the layout and decoration of the new island. For this, I had to improve my map editor: now it is more flexible than ever!

Also, some other things in progress:

  • I made transition tiles so that two types of terrain merge a bit better

  • I made the trails graphics specific to the block type: e.g. sand has a different trail than dirt…

As always, have some screenshots:

We made a lot of improvements on the Freezing Plains visual. Things like pine trees, tiny bushes, some rocks, and others game props!

I have added rewards for quests so that villagers can give you something in return for your hard work helping them. 🥳

I want to know - what's your favourite quest reward?
