In case anyone wonders why the static takes so long to disappear at certain moments, it’s due to Freddy’s new mechanics: Freddy Fazbear, when activated on Night 4, can make either a fake laugh or a real laugh. When the static is caused by a real laugh, it will disappear shortly, and Freddy will move forward. However, if it’s a fake laugh, the static will take longer to fade, and Freddy will stay in place. You can also identify a fake laugh if you listen carefully.
