General Update
Hello, everyone! First off, sorry if it took a while to respond with anything, I decided to take a break for before returning to patch anything. I was working on this project non-stop around last month to meet the delivery deadline (scary stuff) so I think I needed that mental break.
Secondly, I'd like to thank everyone who played the game and left comments, the feedback is appreciated (though my inbox was being flooded by Gamejolt emails, thank goodness they allow you to turn that off). There're some things people have said that I disagree, some other stuff that I agree with, but overall I think the reaction is more or less what I expected. Couldn't do much under the timeframe of a month so heh, it is what it is.
Here are some patches based on some of the things I've received, I may have not gotten everything (either because it went unreported or I didn't think it was as as problematic as some people have told me), and I still implore to keep sending me stuff you find weird. I don't know for how long I'll keep patching stuff, but hopefully not for long.
As always, thank you for your patience and time. That's very cool, I think.
Patch Notes - v1.0.1
Changes:
The Yellow Rabbit's stun time has been decreased from 2.33s-4.33s to 1.33s-2.33s
The Yellow Rabbit now has a chance on Night 1 to get much closer to the office so that learning his mechanic is an easier process
The Hated One's move intervals have been decreased from 2.85s-4.99s to 1.85s-3.89s
The Hated One's AI difficulty on night 5 and 6 have been increased from 6 and 10 respectively, to 8 and 14 respectively
Made the hitboxes for the camera buttons slightly bigger so it's easier to click on them in rapid succession
Bug fixes:
Fixed a bug where the Yellow Rabbit's, Susie's, and Soldier's jumpscare would constantly loop itself and softlock the player
Fixed a bug where the camera static will sometimes freeze and show no animation
Fixed a bug where the "You" text on the cameras remained invisible
This is unrelated, but during the last week of developing this game, I learned that someone I used to know had passed away from cancer just a few months prior. Talk about a twisted sense of irony. The world is just cruel like that sometimes. R.I.P.
