New release: Rebalanced Gameplay

Hello folks!

Some days ago (november 17) we launched a new release of Max. We want to thank all the people who have played this demo and give us feedback by gameplays or posts. That´s really useful for us to improve the game.

Analyzing this feedback we have detected that the difficulty of the game might need a new balance. We have checked all the levels and we have redesigned certain aspects that have to do with the difficulty: Number of enemies, respawn system, order of waves… So by now we think that the game is fairer with the player without losing the challenge we want to offer.

The new demo allows you to keep your advances in the game, but if you want you can go to the options menu and delete your saved game. Doing this you can better test the new changes on the gameplay/game design, like It was the first time you play.

So this is It. If you wanna test the new levels, and give us some delicious feedback, just download the new release :)

See you soon, soldiers !

Aaand, in case you missed it. Here you have the latest trailer for the game :D

I have added rewards for quests so that villagers can give you something in return for your hard work helping them. 🥳

I want to know - what's your favourite quest reward?

I mostly build 3D First Person Shooter game mechanics in Unity, and in this I'm just showing C4 mechanics I made for a little side project I am working on! :)

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
