Team TCM | May Devlog | Spanish
Hey guys, I know this devlog is a little late, since it's already June, but I still wanted to share some Galaxy news with you, taking advantage of the release of this new sneak peek, even though it's not much.
Geometry Dash: Galaxy
This month's progress has been:
The first platformer level, called "The Elemental Tower," which was shown in today's sneak peek, is almost finished.
Race Around The World is halfway decorated.
The Warrior of Wubstep is 80% complete.
The textures for the first world map are finished; it just needs to be programmed.
The map's codebase is very advanced and almost ready for testing.
The game is progressing well; however, we're way behind schedule compared to the plan we had at the beginning of the year, so a beta this month seems very difficult to achieve.
You can be inside Geometry Dash Galaxy!
On another note, I want to announce the first NPC contest for the game!
Throughout the map and the different platform levels, there will be NPCs in the form of game icons, as we mentioned before. These will require names and designs. So, we've opened a call for submissions so you can upload your icons, and we'll integrate them into the levels and the game!
Rules:
Your icon must have fewer than 100 objects and 10 colors.
You can add animations to your cube, but without using keyframes or parent groups.
The level must have the same name as the icon you submit.
Your icon can be one that's already in the game or a new one designed by you.
By submitting your icons, you agree that they may have varying degrees of involvement in the game, and that their appearance is completely random. We can integrate them into the story as we see fit.
Conclusion
Thank you for joining us again this month for our devlog. We appreciate your continued support and patience with the project. I know you'll like it when it's finished. That's all for now. I'm Switch, and I'll see you next month.
