I have added a little icon over CherryBoy’s head on the overmap screen that tells you what you can enter, and whether it’s a level or a boss. also, secret areas that make it worth exploring the overmap stage. Fixed the Bat error (I think…I hope) and tweaked the gameplay a bit… just a bit. mostly fixed the weird pixel weirdness that happens by drawing the objects instead of just letting them be, and having it round the drawing to the nearest pixel.
I still haven’t fixed the “Ghost completion”. that weird glitch where when you beat a boss and the Golden Cherry apears the level just kind of… ends. I have no clue why this happens, it seems to run the script that ends the level and tells the game that the level is “complete” thing is it’s only on the boss stages even though it’s the same cherry item that comes out of all of the level’s end chests! it seems to happen most often on the second boss…
anyway, expect the next update some time soon, I gotta make more levels and make the last boss sprites… It’s gonna be a pain, but art is never easy. it’s gotta be perfect! no half-assed final boss for you!!

So, after a few years of being burnt out creatively I'm starting a brand new project, after a few weeks I've got a pretty decent prototype / alpha started with a unique art style. Once I feel like it's a bit more complete I'll upload a playable alpha.
