Both the main download and quickplay have been updated with new versions!
Objects now have independant collisions and can be placed anywhere on the map, not just in the center of map cells.
Some new features have been added to the map maker, zooming, toggles for lights, objects, tile color and grid snap.
Download version includes a text file on the keys for Map maker and a seperate KC file that I’m using to test out the RPG stat system. Right now it pretty basic, shows stats, press ‘ctrl + enter’ to reroll, left & right to change the character class, up and down to increase/decrease the level.
Some formulas may be subject to change.
I’ve decided to seperate these two parts because the engine half of the game is getting rather long, and the RPG code which includes predefined strings and tags is fairly long in itself.
I’ll wait to combine them when I’m dealing with combat, which will be a new challange in itself.
However next on my list is Doors and object interactions.
